How to report
Use the copyright report form to identify the copyrighted work, identify or locate the material at issue, provide your contact details and authority to act, include a good-faith statement, confirm the information is accurate under penalty of perjury, and sign electronically. Do not send passwords or private account credentials.
Review and removal
After receiving a sufficiently detailed report, RevReel may review the information, contact the claimant for clarification, and remove or disable access to allegedly infringing material when appropriate. Because uploads are private, a claimant should provide as much identifying detail as possible, such as the account email, project title, export filename, date, or a link to any externally shared export.
Counter-notice
If a user believes material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, they may send a counter-notice to the designated-agent contact above. It should identify the removed material and its prior location, include a good-faith statement under penalty of perjury, provide the user’s name, address, phone number, consent to the applicable court’s jurisdiction, consent to accept service from the original claimant, and an electronic signature. RevReel may restore material only after review and any legally appropriate waiting period.
Repeat infringers
RevReel may restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances. We may also act on credible reports involving a single serious or repeated violation.
This policy is operational guidance and is not legal advice. The founder should have counsel review it before launch.
